The homeowners, who were originally from the Midwest but were moving back from New York, and who had fallen in love with California style, wanted to fuse these worlds to create their own style, in an eight-month timeline. Staszak, who is known for historic restorations, reimagined the spaces, merging her clients’ love of art and antiques with natural materials, clean lines, and deep colors.
