In a midcentury tower with sweeping views of the East River, Roosevelt Island, and the United Nations, designer Aria Jahanshahi of OPA Architecture created a penthouse apartment for a Canadian family of fi ve who wanted a forever home in New York City. The clients had only one firm design request: a red kitchen. It became the emotional and visual anchor of the home.
